Black History Month in Canada is a unique opportunity to pay tribute to individuals and personalities of African Descent who through their dynamism and accomplishment have particularly made a mark in time. Now is also the time to shed some light on the social and economic conditions of Black people in Canada.
With this viewpoint, EcoAmbassadeurs organized a series of 3 virtual conferences, from February 27 to March 6, 2021, on racism, equity and anti-racism in education in Ontario.

Professionals and members of the school community shared their point of view with us to find concrete solutions to fight against the systemic barriers faced by young people in the education system.
March 3rd, 2021 I 7 PM – 8:30 PM
Youth and students shared their experiences and point of view on the measures that one can take to fight effectively against racism and a discrimination in the education system in Ontario.
March 6, 2021 I 1PM – 2:30 PM
During this panel, parents shared their perspective on structural changes needed to be made in the education institutions in order to tackle racism and discrimination which their children may encounter.
