No, we do not provide any physical materials to students for this program, all activities will be held on a virtual platform. However, you are encouraged to acquire a “MINI SPHERO” for your child. Yes, the objectives of our program meet those of the Ontario mathematics curriculum. More extensive links to science, technology and the French language will be added during our 3rd cohort that will take place in October 2023.

For now, group learning will only be done through the manipulation of virtual robots. Physical robots will not be allowed during the workshops. However, you can buy a PROGRAMMABLE DEVICE for your child, where he can use it outside of the workshops. We will provide you with the robot references by January 10, 2023.

No, the program is offered in French, however it is available to anglophone students who understand French. Instructors encourage the use of French, but students may speak English during workshops, if necessary. A main goal of this program is to establish greater connections between French and English speaking students.

We are in the process of developing a thorough curriculum for the intermediate and advanced levels of this program. We are hoping to make them both available by January 2024.

Access to the virtual class will be made synchronously and asynchronously. Each registered child will receive a username and password which will be used to enter their class both during the workshops, as well as outside workshop hours. The username and password will be provided to you prior to the start of the first class.

We use Microsoft Teams, which is part of Microsoft 365 Education. We would like to thank Microsoft for their collaboration in the creation of this program.

Our programs are aimed at Francophone and Anglophone children aged 7 to 15, living in the Greater Toronto Region or anywhere in Ontario and Canada. Children are divided into 3 groups: Grades 2 to 3, Grades 4 to 6 and Grades 7 to 10.

No ! Our workshops are designed so that no previous experience is necessary. The lessons are suitable for beginners and kids with some knowledge and skills.

Very important note: By registering, each participant agrees to engage in all 10 workshops of their program spread over 10 Saturdays. Here are the dates (January 21, 28); (February 4, 11, 18, 25); (March 4, 25); (April 1, 8)

Our 10-week programs engage children in hands-on, project-based learning. Our virtual classroom allows children to work at their own pace so that they can continue to work and develop their interests.

Each class will be made of 10-12 students and 1 instructor. Each student would have the choice to  speak in English or in French.

This program has a value of more than $600, luckily parents will only paid $100 processing fees per child. Thanks to Canadian Heritage Financial Support.

We recommend that parents or guardians be near their child during their virtual lesson. Children in grades 2 and 3 will definitely need a parent or a guardian nearby to guide them. This is especially important for their first virtual workshop.

You must enter the virtual classroom at the scheduled time for your child. After paying their processing fees, each student will receive their unique Username and Password to enter their virtual classroom. Parents are responsible for setting up their child before their first lesson. If you try to enter the virtual classroom before the first workshop, the classroom may be closed.

You need a computer with a microphone and speaker, a browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari or IE, and a good internet connection.

Your classe may be canceled if very few students register. A decision will be made a few days before the start of the program, you will be notified of the cancellation and you will have the option of converting processing fees into credit or receiving a full refund.

Yes. The program has a capacity of 75 students max. Students who can not make this time will be automatically added to our waiting list and will be notified about the upcoming cohort.

Yes, you can still submit your application without paying a processing fee if the cohort is full. You will be added to our waiting list and we will send you more details on the next cohort at the end of April 2023.

The next session will start early October 7, 2023. Register now to be added to our waiting list.

The best way for your child to make the most of their time is to attend their regular workshops and complete the activities provided by their Instructor. It is important that children build a community with their classmates, a positive relationship with their instructor (s) and are constantly exposed to the technologies they discover. We understand, however, that perfect participation is not always possible.

We do our best to assess and respond to all requests on a first come, first served basis while ensuring that instructor / student ratios are maintained. If there are circumstances that require special accommodation to make up for a missed lesson, please contact your kid Instructor or our team.

We currently have no programs for adults or high school graduates. The god news is, we are working on a pilot to be announced by the end of 2023.
