The term CODING refers to writing a computer program. The series of instructions programmers create is known as the “source code” of the program. They soon shortened the term to “code.” So when they are working on the source code of a software, an app, or a website, they refer to it as “coding.” (Techslang definition)
It is very helpful and important in many jobs and is very common in day to day use. All the apps and websites that you are using have been made by coding. Whether it is TikTok or Bitcoin, these apps they are all made by different types ofcoding. There are several different languages that all have their own purpose.
Coding is not hard to learn and will provide many benefits no matter what field you want to go into. You can do whatever you want after learning some languages. Simple projects like making a timer to complex projects such as creating a custom multiplayer video game. No matter what your interests are, coding couldalmost always help you further your knowledge.
There’s no denying that technology now dominates a huge amount of different industries.And everyone from Bill Gates to Obama is encouraging young people to give it a go. Learning to code gives children the chance to learn this type of skill while they are young and it can help them along the way in life.

There are many languages in coding that each serve a different purpose. The three most common types of languages are a procedural language, an object-oriented language, and a functional language.
Firstly, a procedural language which is a language that follows, in order, a set of commands. Examples of procedural languages are Java and Pascal.
Secondly, an object-oriented language is a language that revolves around the concept of an object which holds data. Examples of this language are Python and C++.
Finally, a functional language is about software construction by creating pure functions. Examples of this language are Lisp and Clojure.
